FAQ

Do you do consultations over the phone or email?

During these times we are trying to reduce the amount of people coming through the shop so we are trying to do all consultations via email. Our apologies we rarely answer the phone as we are usually with a client so please fill out our submission form.

How do I book a tattoo appointment?

Please fill out our submission form. We cannot book an appointment until a deposit has been provided. Deposit amounts vary depending on the project.

Do I need to pay a deposit?

Deposits start at 100$ and are non-refundable.

We promise to provide a safe, clean, and exceptional environment to get tattooed in while a deposit is your promise to commit to the date and time agreed upon. For this reason, deposits are non-refundable as we can’t always secure a back-up plan for the time slot should someone cancel. We allow one rebook with a minimum of 72 hour notice. All deposits need to be used within a year.

Which artist should I book with?

You can browse our work on our artists’ page to get a brief introduction to each artist’s style. For a more in-depth look at the styles and variety of our work, follow us and take a look at our Instagram page. Lastly, we can make recommendations based on your idea and reference pictures so don’t hesitate to get in touch!

Do I have to be 18 to get a tattoo?

All customers must be 18 or older.

Is there a minimum tattoo cost?

The minimum cost for a tattoo is $130 to ensure we can accommodate artist and shop costs.

How much does a tattoo cost and how do you charge for tattoos?

The price for tattoos varies quite a bit. We price tattoos based on the amount of detail, colours, and time spent. We prefer quoting a tattoo based on the individual piece but can also tattoo based on an hourly rate. Please contact us for pricing on larger projects.

What if I need to cancel?

We require a minimum of 72 hours notice to move any appointment to another date. Deposits are non-refundable. Only one rebook permitted per project.

How should I prepare for my consultation?

If you have an idea already, gather up as much inspiration that you can in order for us to see what the intended result is so we can advise you as best as possible. If you’re still unsure of what to get, no problem. We still ask that you come with some examples of work and themes you like and we can take it from there! Artists will quote the project so bring money for a deposit which will be discussed during the consultation. The faster deposit is paid, the faster we can lock in your spot!

Does getting a tattoo hurt?

It’s not terrible, but uncomfortable. Pain levels will depend on individual pain tolerance, location and length of the tattoo. Most people are pleasantly surprised that the pain is less than expected!

We suggest coming hydrated, on a full stomach and good night of sleep. Bring snacks and water for longer sessions.

Are walk-ins welcome?

We can't guarantee availability. If you have a design or artist in mind, booking in advance is required to ensure we can accommodate your specific needs. Email us your ideas!

Do you do cover-ups?

We do when possible. The reality is that some tattoos may not be that easy to cover up, if at all. It’s best to have a consultation with us before we can be exactly sure of how best to proceed. Email us and we'll do our best!

I know which artist I want to tattoo me, how do I book them specifically?

When contacting us please explicitly request the artists of choice so we can schedule you accordingly.

I’m having trouble deciding what to get.

Take a look at each of our artist and check their portfolios. If someone’s work really catches your eye take a look and they may have designs up for grabs! Or you can send us your ideas and maybe one of yours will catch their eye!

How do I take care of my tattoo while it’s healing?

We'll provide an aftercare sheet with a detailed explanation of how best to help a tattoo heal.
